I studied Fine Art at Melbourne University and painting part-time at RMIT.
I painted murals on nursery walls for a while and taught Art at secondary school level for 15 years.

My father had told me there was no career in art, but I continued to paint. I have had solo and group exhibitions with Young Originals gallery in Windsor, Artist Proof gallery, Mechanics Institute Gallery, Montsalvat, Eltham Wiregrass gallery, Eltham Community gallery, Edge Gallery, 45 Downstairs and Yering Station gallery. My work often hangs in wineries such as Punt Road Winery in the Yarra Valley.

I do many commissions, often with familiar places, people or pets in the paintings.

For the last 15 years or so I have been involved with the Nillumbik Open Studios Program.

In November 2016 I had an exhibition at the fabulous FAD GALLERY BAR in Corrs lane in the city, with new work that is a quantum leap from the old...but still silly

My work is quirky and should bring a smile to your face. It is dynamic and colourful and, I think , is 'Art to Live With'.
